Unfortunately the Fayetteville Force had some issues with player and coaches contracts and many more things. The season was in jeopardy of not being finished but the league entered into an asset deal to make it happen. Because this deal was done at such last minute the league was unable to pick up the contracts of the current Force players and coaches. Therefore they assembled a team of rookies and former arena players that were available to finish out the season.
